Bluetooth kit (A2DP and handsfree) for Accord Euro 2003?

Hi guys,

I've been doing a lot of reading on Bluetooth kits that support both A2DP (streaming audio) and normal handsfree, and now I want to install one in my Euro '03 Lux.

I see a few people here have installed different kits, but I can't find anyone who has managed to do exactly this.

My question is, has anyone got a Bluetooth kit that does audio streaming and handsfree in their Euro, and does it:

* Auto mute when a call comes in?
* Use all in-car speakers?

The two main ones I was looking at were the Dension 300 or the Parrot MKi9100.

I have the Honda iPod adapter and the Honda BT Kit. BT Kit mutes all speakers and uses passenger side front speakers.

Tony1234 has a Parrot kit but I think it was a custom install.

Do a search for one4spl's post. I think he has done what your trying to do. I think he was install an aux-in + bt car kit, that obviously does bt handsfree and a2dp.

Is your BT kit the Honda OEM? Is it retro-fitted to an '03?

By the sounds of things, it doesn't support A2DP right, because audio only comes out of one speaker?

I've got the Parrot3100.It uses the factory speakers for incoming calls and also mutes the radio.But my installer told me not to use the mute function as apparently it shuts down the whole centre console and could possibly shorten the life of the center console being switched off and on so installed relays on all my speakers and installed a single speaker for phone calls so i get the same result.He suggested this as i have amps LOCs etc.I'm not sure exactly what he meant but all i know it works great.This was installed over 2 yrs.ago.
