Hi guys,

I couldn't find a thread on this,

My stereo has an AUX input button, on the same button as the cd function

My question is, where is the actual input? If there is one, is it RCA or normal headphone jack? Etc

No it is not a normal input - do a search for SNHOND3 and that will get you on the right path.

I have replied on the other thread. This button is for CD changers/ipod adapters that can be connected at the back of the unit.

I assume so. If nobody else knows, the best thing to do would be to pull the facia off and have a look. That's what I did...

Well I asked a guy that I know from RYDA and reckons the 03/04 had the stackler connection definitely on the EURO, the adapters work perfectly, but not steering control.. because it's a CNET connection, the steering wheel was never meant to control the stacker..

Oh well..

But I found one of those XCAR-Links on ebay for like $115.00 or something.. i'll be looking closer into it.. and it's Iphone compatible!

Good one. Probably worth making sure it's a genuine one and not a cheap Chinese copy.

Hey guys,

I bought the Xcarlink, and I have it here,

It has the Iphone / pod cable, and also an Audio in via headphone jack..

Can I use both at the same time? I want to connect my Tom Tom via the headphone jack and the iphone.

Also,

I'm putting in a connection so my Tom Tom can sit and charge in the storage compartment as well, this way It can always be ready to go and be hidden by the lid when closed,

I have an xcarlink iPod adapter and my steering wheel controls work and it keeps my ipod charged. The plug is at the base of the unit. You need to remove the centre console top cover, ashtray before you can remove the centre bin under the a/c controls.

I got my adapter through sydney installers on ebay for about $160 from memory. Well worth doing.

I did mine on Wednesday and love it, I drilled a little hole in the centre compartment bin, but the weird thing is, when I press cd, I have to press it twice so it says cd4 so it works? Not disc 4 or track 4 I mean cd4. I have to go past 3 so it works! In other words while the stereo is playing a cd, I have to press it twice more for the xcar to work

yeah mine says cd-4 then disc 4 track 1 all the time. i think the one of disc 3 is for the other input.

I have just installed mine. And I am not sure how you get to AUX. Do I have to remove all the CD's first? I just assumed you press the CD/AUX twice and it would work. But it doesnt seem to do anything.

I have just learned an expensive lesson. The HON03-POD/S is only for Head Units with XM or Satelite Radio. I imagine this was mentioned before in this or many other forums, but unfortunately I didn't read them soon enough. :(

So this is for anybody looking at purchasing the HON03-POD/S. It is only designed to work with a head unit with XM (Satelite Radio) :(

This is directly from Pie themselves:

"To begin with, your radio will need to have XM capablity, even if XM is not installed or active. If your radio does not have an "XM" button, then our HON03-POD/S will not work."

I hope this helps.

And on that note. Does anybody want to buy a new (Unpacked) HON03-POD/S ?

Only the US models have XM radio. Australia doesn't broadcast XM unfortunately. :(
