What intake?

I want to put a air intake into my EK1 civic to replace the airbox. What would i be looking for when buying an intake? brands? pricing? preferences?

preferences: whether you want cold air intake, or short ram intake
pricing: brand names such as aem, fujita, injen etc. if you want to spend between 300-500 dollars
brands: custom intake, keep stock intake and put a pod (just for intake sound), or you got the brands mentioned above.

both cold air intake, has there pros vs cons.

a few to consider would be short ram has been throttle response, but you then get heatsoak from the air intake taking in so much hot air from the engine bay.

cold air intakes eliminate heat soak, but are said to be less responsive. but i love my cold air intake, id go a cold air anyday.
