Hey guys,

Are there any "Rule of thumb" procedures that should be done after installing new suspension bushes? other then the obvious of lubrication with grease?

Thanks in advance

If you're installing stock bushings (or stock like), they don't have to be greased.
If you're using thing something like ES, then yes, grease them but only with the appropriate rubber grease. Not sure if using the normal petroleum grease would cause deterioration in the rubber.

Otherwise, make sure everything is bolted up nice, especially the ones that join the LCAs to the subframe.

Get a wheel alignment...and you're off

and remember to preload suspension parts to normal loaded position before torquing up everything otherwise the new bushes won't last very long

normal loaded position to prevent bushing bind then correct torque spec for bolts + retorque after a few days

I use a medium thread lock sealant - like Loctite
