Hey guys,

I drive a 96 Prelude s 4th gen and was after some used rims for my car. I bought my car with aftermarket 16' ROH wheels. I now want to buy 18's but don't really know what wheels will fit. The wheels are 4 stud so will any 4 stud rims fit, if I use spacers?

Thanks in advance

4 stud with 114.3 pcd
aka 4x114.3
get rims meant for fwd (offset between +30-50)
u shouldnt need spacers if you get right offset

not any 4 stud will fit because there is 4x100 than 4x114.3 patterns

yep spacers are illegal.

If your buying new wheels try going to a shop that sells alot of mags. They will be able to tell you the offset (prob a +40 or so) and what tyre you will need to run to keep it about the same as your current rims so you don't rub.

Then just go around looking for what you want

As limbo said.. you can run 18's but would need a very thin tyre to suite. Remeber lower profile tyres cost alot more than normal tyres so you need to sum up if its all worth it to just go 2'' larger.

i had 19s on my del sol before...only problem i had was turning....it always rub on the inside wall of the wheel well...plus they put too much strain on the brakes and suspension....dropped down to 17s and they're much better....16s would have been even more better for the del sol, but 17s is still good

i reackon 17s would be a nice fit for 4th gen prelude...u definately wont have any fitment issues...but u'd need to roll ur guards at least if the car is lowered

u may need to run camber for the 18", it will cause your tyre run out faster,
try to go with 17 for the Prelude

it will only wear out quicker if your toe is out because you didnt get a wheel allignment after loweing/adjusting camber!

also depending how much negative camber you have
