Hi all,

Been quoted for the following leads:

Genuine Honda - $197 (WTF???)
Top Gun - $105
Eagle - $80

Not willing to spend nearly $200 on leads, so what are Top Gun or Eagle like?

Oh, its for a 97 EK D61Y4.

Thanks

Topgun are a good australian brand. Spitfire are even better proven by tests. Either one of these are exceptionally better than Eagle.

Wouldn't have a clue. I'm assuming any leads specifically for the Civic will fit the civic......

is there anything actually wrong with your current leads?
oem ones should last a very long time

Wouldn't have a clue. Just changing them as a matter of course. Not sure if they are original, think they are, and although its only done 60,000k its 12years old. What would the originals be marked? The ones on there say sumimotro or something.

Ngk.

Can't seem to find NGK anywhere, none of the local auto places or ebay. Will see if the Ozhonda member selling them gets back to me soon.

you should never need new leads on a std civic of these models, theyre built tough as

judging by the price it, bet they were in japan or melb too they sell that much

please use only standard parts and fluids.

Most if not all hondas (even built or race cars etc) perform best with OEM parts. This includes spark leads.

im currently using powersprint 7cores, with NGK iridiums
dont know the gains, but they look sex in the engine bay...
