ls/vtec vs. turbo

hi guys,

What do u think would be better to do:
i'm thinking a converting to a b20 vtec, but then again i dont have much knowledge on it. Either that or a turbo kit. Just want ur guys opinions and recommendations. i've got a DC4 with a full cat-back exhaust with x-force muffler. also have headers on it, but it came wen i bought the car. Thanks guys

turbo the ****e* many have done it and I think they are much happier than their counterpart b20 builds...

thanks for the reply guyz. i was leaning towards the turbo but thought id get another opinion. now being a noob, i dunno many places where i can get it done. i've been on some of the other threads and didnt get much u kno. i'm in west side melbourne. if u kno any places please say

End of the day a b20 is just a 2ltr with vtec. Still not a match for a turbo

turbo is much better imo.. at least when u wanna sell it u can keep ur turbo parts for maybe another project.. not many people would want a vtec gsi i dont wreckon..

and the money that would be poured into the b20 would get u a good turbo set up

You sure? A semi built b20vtec will raped a b16a turbo:)

If you want to turbo, do it properly and doing it proerply will cost ya some $$$.

^ that still gets no where, you can build the b20 all you like but the same goes with turbo route, possibilities are also broad, all you need to do is up the psi. Don't get me wrong I love n/a engines with vtec, but in this scenario the turbo is favored for the bang for buck factor
