EG Civic Side mirrors. Is wide angle available?

Hey guys,

After driving a few newer cars and then jumping into the EG, i noticed that my side mirrors aren't wide view/convex or whatever you call it. Its just a normal 1:1 mirror and i'm not getting the wider view that i want. In fact i find it somewhat dangerous even though i do head check all the time.

So i'm just wondering if any of the later model or higher spec EG's came with the wide angle mirror that i could swap in. Or alternatively where can i get aftermarket items and how much would they cost?

not sure if it'll help in this scenario but you could try a glass cutter and see if they can do anything about it.

i dont think there is oem wide angle; but u can buy blind mirror (the circle one) for 2 bucks anywhere.

yeah i considered the circle stick-on mirror but i'd just prefer something better.
I guess some spoon replica mirrors have the wide angle...

Spoon mirrors are preety wide, well wider then OEM me thinks.

I just remember seeing the "objects in mirror are closer than they appear" on one...so must be the wide angle one
