Do you guys think the PRB IM + the P2R expansion chamber* is a viable alternative to an RBC IM?
Im in a position to get a PRB IM at a good price, so im looking at this option.
And the RBC has gone up in price a lot since the dollars gone down.
Also does anyone know if the PRB is bolt on to the K24a?

Hmmm.Looks interesting.I think it'd fit but not sure what gains (if any)you'd get.Email them and see what they have to say.

The PRB/PRC wont fit unless you fit the K20A head on. The PRB/PRC wont have the water outlet that the K24 has I think.
I think from memory, you can get an adaptor plate to fit the PRB/PRC manifold....you'll need to google that tho!
PRB/PRC would be a good alternative to RBC as it'll more than likely keep its mid range and gain up top. Who knows, it may have an increase in all areas :)

I actually got the hasport adaptor plate.
Everythings running really well , i also bored out the inlet just after the TB.
Throttle response is better than stock down-low, then between 3k-4.5k, it's very similar to stock, and then there's a big rush from 5 to redline .
It'd b interesting to compare it back to back with the RBC.
Through the butt-dyno, i dont feel any loses.

What else have you done to your car? Can you get it dynoed, I'm very interested :D
I got my car with RBC dynoed and it made peak torque at about 3250rpm... weird. Need a stock Euro dyno chart to compare to though.

looks interesting.
would like to know where in the rev range the claimed tq and hp gains are though.

Engine wise just intake mods so far; apollo k&n intake, TB coolant bypass, prb IM with p2r expansion chamber and IM inlet slightly bored out, p2r IM gasket (also a p2r billet fuel rail).
It's gonna be a while before i dyno, gonna do header/cat, ecu before dyno.
But if i get some spare funds together ill do it.

I'd be really curious to see what you do on the dyno man. I want to see a PRB power curve vs. an RBC power curve!
Get it done :p
