EK Gli or EG4 Si

Hey, i currently drive a 2000 EK Gli and considering changing to a EG4 Si that my friend wants to sell off.
Just curious which ones better. The Si does have more power on paper, and is still in pretty good condition, also after reading around the forum I've learned that EG has a weight advantage over the EK.

So is there also any other aspects i should be looking at before considering the change?

I would think age is a pretty massive factor - expect bits to start breaking soon.

dude theres no differnet factor you have said one thats power, both had aircon, both had pwoer options.

one has 1990+ yr mod and others is 96+ mod so its up to you to decide on what you want, dont ask ozhonda casue 50% of em are going to say get eg or get ek due to personal preference and being baised.

ill say stick to your ek, newer version lesser problems imo.
upgrade to ek4? :D

so i might sell of my Gli and upgrade
firstly gotta see how much i can get for it n figure out my budget

it always thought eg Si was an EG5 not EG4, EG4 is eg gl or gli, make sure you are getting an Si if you go thorugh with the swap, easiest way is to check the vin number on the firewall, should be JHMEG5xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

If you want performance, without any engine conversion, go for si. twin cam, 96kw stock, just like the VTi. For EK.. Gli are only 88kws? all EK's are below 90kw except the VTi-R, Type R. Unless they have mods.

EG: More "cute" smaller, bigger interior space, compare to EK(abit too crowded)
EK: Newer Model, More mods accesories.


For my opinion, go for EG Si, it'll serve you well as i have an EG my self
