I'm planning to change the springs on my CL9 euro. I believe I have to remove the rear parcel shelf to access the bolts connecting the rear struts to the car body.

Is there an easier way (or some workaround) to get at these bolts and make the job easier?

Thanks in advance for any info you guys can provide.

don't need to remove parcel shelf just undo the seat quarter panel.

- pull rear seat base up until it unclicks.
- undo 10mm bolt holding the quarter panel (bolt thread in towards the door).
- slide the panel up until it unclicks out and you then have access.

If I understand correctly, you're trying to get access to the nuts holding your rear coilovers in place. If that's the case, there is an easier way. All you have to do is remove the edge section of backrest. The edge section is held in place by one bolt at the bottom end of the backrest, inside the split of the seat. After you undo that bolt, simply lift the edge section upwards and a bit towards the back as well, it has these plastic hook-looking things that holds it down. Then you'll see the two nuts of the coilovers.
Good luck!

You mean you just pull up on the chair till it unclicks? no need to pull forward and up? etc..

YES - pull base up until it unclicks > then access the 10mm bolt.
