I am wanting to install the sat nav into my 07 euro which currently just has the standard stacker in it.
I have been told its expensive but wanted to ask if anybody has done it before or knows of some prices?
Thanks

I think there was a thread on here before or on the tsx forums.
Its expensive because they have to rip out your old wiring loom and install a new loom or something. Plus the price of the satnav and labour costs which add up .

Sell your euro and use the extra money to buy one that already has a sat nav lol, would prob be cheaper and just as much hassle

hard to find one with such low kms, no scratches. 2 year warranty
lol it comes out better when u keep the car and mod it..

Haha thats true, mine came with a satnav. Dont really use it but its a cool wank factor. I think just the satnav unit itself costs around 3,000 or something from honda, then the labor would be a bit too.

yeah that would be a cheaper / better option lol. since the upgrades from honda cost you like 400+ or something

I wouldn't bother with it - buy a portable one. Heck you could get a pretty good portable unit for the price which Honda wants for the update discs, let alone the cost of the factory unit and installation!
I have a navi and to be honest I'm dreading having a thing which is going to cost so much to keep reasonably updated.... a Melways is only $50.00 and is just as easy to use.

Do the stock nav euros work well? I mean you guys are telling me they run like Sh*&T???
If this is the case, i may aswell invest into a top price navman.. i just dun wanna stuff around with the whole non-stock business. the the dual climate control and the oem controls on the steering wheel/
I did before with my previous euro, it ran by infared signal. which meant stopping at a set of lights, would cause the stereo to change sources lol

My brother has the CU2 lusx satnav and besides gaining reception faster than my tomtom, i dont think its better at all. It took us to a no through road a couple of times, no redlight camera alert and no speed camera alert.
It looks better when the gps is in the console, but o well, i can live with it. Spend the 3k on sth much much more worthwhile
