B16a Gearbox options...

Hi guys My freind and i just each purchased 95 crx's and the gearbox's in them aren't to flash my one the pivot and shift bearings are worn, and my friends second gear synchro is shanked.
Now i know that b series gearboxes are compatible so what i was wondering is;
What is the difference between the 2 in terms of strength lsd's and ratios?

Is it a straight forward swap or is there fabrication work to do etc...?

What is the price generally of these gearboxes and where could i source 2 of them in sydney?

Also are their any model years with variations or upgrades in the gearboxes are there any other options other the those i mentioned before?

Any information you guys can share with us would be much appreciated.

Best gearbox for u would be a box out of a dc2 r (integra) and if your not a member of crxaustralia u should join

Eg SIR box or DC2 VTIR should be fairly well priced if you dont want LSD, i sold one for around $500 a while back, you should be able to pick one up for around $600-$800 max

And no mods required, straight bolt up with your clutch kit

cheers kewl thanx, But i currently have lsd and couldn't go back to not having one, Which boxes have lsd and how much can i expect to pay?
Does anyone know of any places i could find one?
