Wanted to ask for those who have removed their spoilers, how did you go about filling the holes to prevent rust and how much did it cost you?

Pictures of after removal would be cool too :D

Currently considering filling holes with clark rubber or welding. Any other options?

My spoiler delete cost me $3.50.
-Unbolt the spoiler.
-Disconnect/Chop spoiler light wiring.
-Drive to Autobarn and ask for some Grommet Plugs. Dont recall the size but just ask them and they'll find a match for you.
Otherwise if you're planning to get it welded, longers just answered it.

Although i must mention underneath my spoiler, there were some like some minor scratches but cut and polish fought it off.
Hope that helps :D

Imo, grommets make the rear look shit/

I removed mine, and got the holes welded and the boot resprayed.
Whole job was about 200.

My car is black so it didn't get to me too much.

maybe a magic wand that could make the holes disappear...

lol doesn't hurt to ask for any other options to exhaust does it mate.

Thought grommets would make it look shit too so I guess welding/respray is the way to go.

Just got my boot welded, spot welded a couple of points of rust (after my accident), welded the spoiler holes + badge holes + resprayed for $350.

Mine cost alot more because I had a bunch of other repairs included like filling the holes in the front bar and removing/repairing some rust on the bonnet.

That's quite cheap!

I got quoted 250 for just a respray for the boot by DT Panels
