as the title says, when i turn the steering wheel full lock, the idle drops dramatically to the point where its about to stall. any suggestions to what it could be? thanks
power steering pump.
Type R carpet will fix this.

I think its because your power steering pump is powered by the engine so its causing load on the engine.

Normal, its like when you turn your aircon on, the aircon puts load on your engine which drops the revs until the computer corrects it.

when you say its dropping to near stalling point.. how much revs are we talking once you full lock the steering??
is idle smooth when the cars on? if is not consistant?
