[CL9] Full Retrim.

hrm since i got tan leather interior and i dont like it. im thinking of a full retrim.
heres my idea so far.

-full red leather seats
-dye the back parcel shelf black and paint the speaker cover black
-side door will have red suede retrim.
-front passenger and driver seats with recaros.
-any plastic bit in the car that are tan. will be painted grey (center console colour.

thoughts?

there are so many performance mods but no interior mods...it would be good to see something different : )

They are on the side of the seats, i think what you're thinking is the curtain airbags i believe they were only avaliable in the luxury and sports edition.

ive been thinking that since forever. He claims he will do a full RHD conversion and manual conversion too...

hats off to him for going all out....but at the end of the day, it's still a euro. With the amount of money he's poured into that, he could have probably bought a 34 GTR or something by now....if not that, something which is more "mod worthy" than the euro/tsx. but each to their own...
I guess JDM anything over there gets you the awards...even if it is a euro R replica. :P

I'd consider getting your leather and plastic coloured (sprayed) by a professional that specialises in it. It's significantly cheaper and the results can be excellent.

Don't even bother painting plastic shit or the leather for that matter..

Im a motor trimmer by trade and it never works properly. have had to re do many seats and dashes that have been painted etc as the paint chips and flakes easily.

Go to a reputable motor trimmer and get it done... I have retrimmed a CL9 in full red leather. Seats, dash, doors, roof lining, floors, boot and everything in between!

I also owned a 95 accord with all red inside and it looks great and anyone who thinks it doenst look luxury... have a good look inside a car that is all red. it looks very classy!

it will cost you a pretty penny to get it done buy you will not regret it!

Depends on ho far you go honestly... Its reall one of those "How long is a piece of string" type questions..

IF you do EVERYTHING then i would set a minimum budget of $15k!

BUT if you want to do basics like seats, door trim inserts, console arm rests, parcel tray, hood lining and pillar panels in leather and suede then it would probably cost from $4000 - $8000..

Best thing to do is take it to a trimmer and price it up!

Then cut a thousand or two off those prices... But suede won't wear aswell on the seats.
