hey guys.. just a curious question..??? when i start my car (EM1 B16a) it sometimes chokes as its started.. maybe needing to be cranked over to start it up.. and it has an s200 computer tuned for an intake and full exhaust (dont have the proper intake).. do you think this could be because its not geting enough air.. or could it maybe be the fuel filter.. as its not a genuine fuel filter from honda???

Thanks guys

try find a standard ECU... give that a trial...
even try starting it with the intake on... just open TB adjust the idle screw

has it always had the problem??? since the conversion??

could be faulty sensors... depending what condition the motor was in...

or you could get an intake and full exhaust and trial that too lol...

either or, diagnose the problem through trial and error.
that would be the way id head...

yehh.. umm well it has a full exhaust.. and it just has a pod on it now.. but not a proper CAI.. i was thinking to buy an AEM or INJEN?? might give a bit more air flow through to let it breath properly.. but i heard it might be the fuel filter?? because sometimes i have to crank it over to let it start up.. and don't think its to good for the motor..

but its been tuned with the S200 for a full exhaust and proper CAI.. but i don't have the CAI so its pretty restrictive to the motor.. even when i give it a lil bit.. its not to its full potential due to not having a CAI i think:S:S

bring it back to the tuner and check the cold start...
