I'm currently experiencing this problem where the idling rpm falls after a period of time even though the idling knob has been adjusted higher.

My current idling is at around 500k with aircon switched on. My mechanic has helped me adjust it to around 800k a month ago and also checked that the throttle body was still very clean. But after driving home from work today my idling rpm has dropped to 500k again.

My mechanic has also advised me against over-adjusting the idling rpm.

I know some may feel it is ok to have a low rpm as it saves fuel but on a hot sunny day, the car just feels extremely sluggish to point where it sounds like the car is going to stall.

Can anyone please advise? Thanks in advance!
