Use hand controller,
Go to "etc"
Last optiobn at bottom of page is "initialise"
Right arrow to select yes, then press next.
Turn the car off then on...
ECU is reset to base map.
(Any - all previous tuning will be erased doing this,
Including removing any lock-out on hand controller)

NB: Hand controller will tell you base programe type, B18C or B16B

not too much difference between the b18c & b16b base maps.
You should be fine until you get it tuned

Tried resetting the ECU as above but doesnt seems to be working..... the ECU was previously tune for quad throttle, cams, full exhaust, air intake... I think that was all. The car seems to be choking and rev meter goes up and down, think there's not enough airflow goes into the engine or something.... not to sure. The ony mods i've got is full exhaust and air intake.

Okay, it seems to be working but the engine light comes on when i turn on the engine and my idle is really crappy and it hunts around a lot when on idle. Should i let it idle for up to 30 minutes so it adjusts to my engine setup?

yep you need to let it idle for a while~ 15 or 20 i think it was.

i dunno about engine light but. i know on subarus, you put it in, then you turn it on for 20 mins, then turn it off, then turn it on after 15 and take it light to medium drive. then off for 15 then on again on a medium to hard drive. correct if iam wrong but. pretty sure its right.

Check that the boost control function is turned off.
This is the usual cause of check light.
Check that O2 senor is working - 0.2 ~ 0.8 V @ idle
If 3.5+V turn it off
If the car is blowing smoke or running lean, adjust the mixture trim in settings to get an idea of the total trim to apply to the injectors.
NB: The trim will not be permenant & only stay while the car is running, a restart will erase any changes.
Increase the default idle speed value from 750~800 to 900rpm.
Adjust idle blled bypass screw on throttle to suit.
Often too far out will also cause hunting.
