Integra vti-r exhaust

Hi,

recently i just bought a 94 integra vti-r with 100 cliks in beautiful nik for 7.4k :D

i am on my p's therefore cannot add any performance mods to my car.

i have purchased a magnaflow muffler with twin 4" tips off a mate and am considering getting a straight pipe aswell...
i'm only after a nice sound atm as thats all thats legal!

i was quoted 60-80 bucks to fit the muffler?
has anyone had quotes on a straight pipe and can give me an idea of fitting price?
and does the straight add performance?
also does anyone have any links to the sound comparison between muffler with straight pipe and an just the AM muffler.

u'll love the vtec cross over with a straight pipe, but are ur ear drums forged ? i dont believe jus changing a muffler will give u any gains

not sure about melb rules but i think exhaust mods are legal as long as they are legally under sound limit in your state

around 50 bux is what you should pay to cut and weld a muffler

im pretty sure i'm aloud up to 94db before it becomes illegal...
does anyone know how much a straight pipe costs?

the legal limit is 91 db i believe
