Ok, I went for dyno tuning yesterday and i happened to just see this when i was washing the car today.

I'm not sure if it was due to the mechanic knocking an area near to it as he was retarding the ignition timing at that time.

Can anyone advise what is the greenish plug/connector that broke off in the pic?

I really hope it doesn't lead to anything serious while driving. :(

that , is your VTEC pressure switch.

You will need a entire VTEC solenoid + pressure switch unit.

Won't cost too much to replace. Can pick up one for as cheap as 60bux. Just fit it yourself. These parts are plentyful.

Thanks for info guys..looks like i might talk to him about it though chances are that he's going to deny anything at all.

Btw, what effects would a broken VTEC solenoid & switch have? Does it mean it just won't engage VTEC but still able to drive normally under 5k? Or is there something more adverse to it?
