usually if they were able to steal it (esp oem one)
they had to get really under the car and start unscrewing etc etc,

put it this way dude, with enough time and the tools some things on the outside of your car can be stolen like side skirts, wheel arch guard things, etc etc.
best way i guess is if u try to hide where the screws are

i suggest L bracket on each side, so unless the car is super high, and i mean realy high, they cant undo it without jacking the car up, on top of that a screw on either side and 2 in the middle.
again, with teh right time and tools anythings possible! so just gotta secure it as best as u can

When installed, drill a couple of extra holes and pop rivot it!

It'll atleast slow them down!

Could always glue it down. Makes it super hard to remove, even for yourself!

get some anti-theft screws from your local autoshop/bunnings.

very good investment for those bolt on bits

My lip is secured with screws and hidden nuts, and my screws are hex heads so it slows them down if they don't have the right tool.

A blolb of solder on the screw heads makes it very difficult to remove on the fly but simple if you're next to a power-point with a soldering iron.

ahhh sweet will try that next time
and if i reheat it again the solder will melt and i can take off screw?

yeah, will it melt and fall right off or will it stay on top of the screw somewhere

like googed said, anti theft bolts/screws are one of the best ways to stop them getting stolen. got a packet of 15 from bunnings for $3.80. it fits the 10mm nuts and it also comes with screw types too.

its hard enough to unscrew let alone unscrewing them while its on the car.

IMO its a bad thing to secure removables as if a theif really wants it, hell damage your car in the making of taking it off! Just try hide your car when you leave it for long periods of time, like at a train station leave it on a side street not in full view etc. Because think about it, if you glue it on, you may find them using crowbars etc if they're real desperate and then fcuk your car up in the process
