How to modify DC5R seat rail to suit EK

Hi, i got a dc5r recaro seat with rail. so i am thinking dropping it into the car.
However, i couldn't get any EK9 recaro seat rail.
Just wondering anyone here had modify the dc5r seat rail to suit EK?

or where can i get someone to do it? In perth.

Hey bro.. what i know is u can modify ur raills to the seats not to the car cos of the length and diff sizes And the bolts on ur car is fix dead so you would not wanna ask the mech to drill a hole on a different place and tie ur seats on it and its very dangerous too , i reckon u can take ur seat rails out and sell it and then go get a Stock EK rails and Modify to ur recaros .. Thats a better idea

that would not work either... dude what i suggest is stay with your seats now sell the dc5 rails save abit and buy vision super low rails to recaros thats it or buy ek9 rails

The ek9 rail cost almost 500 shipped from jdmyard and jdmconcept.

I always heard someone about saying modifying rail to suit the car.

So wonder if anyone done it before?

Well as said ......... Its no point getting that rails for 500 bucks while u can ask someone that can modify it for 150 bucks...and i'm sure it can be done

can be done easily - just a matter of fabricating another piece to your existing rail, re drill new holes and tap it.
