Hi all, just picked up my s2k and have done an oil and filter change using oem stuff. however i want to do the rest (diff, gearbox, coolant, spark plugs, fuel filter i think thats it) and would like some owners opinions on what is best.

is oem good for all of them? i was thinking redline shockproof (heavy) for the diff and redline lightweight for the tranny, but after reading on s2ki it seems redline stuff isnt the best for day to day, and oem will do?

honda premix is good for coolant? plug recommendations?

thanks guys new to the honda world much more learning to be done!

John

Yeah champ can't go wrong with OEM. Go to synthetic engine oil and use OEM for everything else.

I use Motul 300V 5W30, that's my preference. Elf, Shell, Mobil 1, Royal Purple these are all good brands just depends on preference. I think first, see whether your car uses oil, some use little some use lots. If your car uses alot of oil then probably go to ?w40 as this is a slightly thicker oil and you won't chew through it as quickly.

That's normal, most '99 & '00 did chew it. 10w-40 should be fine.
