Skunk2 shiftknob on FD1

Hi Guys,

Was thinking about getting a Skunk2 Shift knob for my FD1. Does anyone know if there will be a gap between the knob and the stock shift boot after installing?

On the manufacturer's website there are two models:
- Shift knob 12 x 1.25 5-speed
- Shift knob 10 x 1.5 5-speed

Which size is suited for the FD1? Thanks very much, guys.

i hav it on my FD2, if u twist it to the end it gets really really short, around half the size of the stock gear stick which i dun like but it comes with a nut that acts as a stopper, but the adjustability wass not very big due the the short treads, i had 999automotive to make the tread longer to custom to my prefered height. but sorry, i dun remember which pattern suits our car. oh, get the short shift adaptor too!

Auto or manual? Manual is M10 x 1.5

i like how it only reduces the throw by around 20%, not too short n shifting is smoother.
