Got t boned this morning whilst doing a u turn cars ****ed, looks like it will be a write off, was spose to get it sprayed next week hence the black bumpers and no rear wing. time for a new car however...

looks like a spot of panel beating
new or second hand LCA's and suspension components
new or second hand tail light.... they look like aftermarket tail lights...
new tyre no doubt a chunks been taken out of it...

Iv hit 2 people doing u turns in front of me and i tell you you don't forget the the look on there face when they realize they are screwed , espeicaly my 2 as i hit both of them right in the door :eek:...

not at intersections with traffic lights. if there are lights then there has to be signage to say u-turn permitted. but if no lights then u turns for everyone!

when i wrote my car off i wasn't upset. just was like 'i wanted a new car and here is a real reason to get one now'. think of it as a new a start. i always wanted a eg so i got one.

this time go out and buy the car you really want. you like the ek hatch shape then get a ek4 of one already b series swapped etc. i wanted a eg5 and waited and waited for a clean not too modded one and boom dream car found.

I'm not a role model,'people say a lot of things' and I don't make decisions for other's cause if I did it would be a far different world!

But I completely understand what U are saying Paps cause the system CAN and does,when it pleases,take a diiferent view and they can come track me down and say 'Did U say it is legal to do U turns in QLD?' which would be changed to 'Did you tell this man it's legal to do U-turns anywhere in QLD?' and use the old,you are older,more mature,so you are a responsible adult to the younger ones.

What they are really saying is 'watch every single word you say because it can and will be used against you if willing,you are now a 'responsible adult' so LOOK OUT!'

It's absolutely no wonder people live such sheltered lives,scared to say or do anything for fear it coming back to destroy them but this is the world we live in.It's how it is here.Never give into fear,it truely is the biggest mind killer.

Unfortunatley im in the wrong as it was over double parallel lines. down at the beach, preety quiet road, unfortunatley she come from no were, im aware im in the wrong and the police have informed me aswell, though my insurance company (just car) have told me they want to dispute it so they dont have to pay out the other lady, but i dont like my chances at all. the tail light wernt after market, they were genuine 99-00 type r's. grrrrrrrrrrr. expensive. bumper was brand new genuine from honda too, also ****ing expensive. still going to be waiting a while to hear from them though. there sending me out forms to fill about my version of the acco even though ive told them. ive got a mate whos a panel beater and he just laughed when he looked at it and says theres about a 1% chance they wont write it off. i was kinda looking for a new car but i wanted to finish this off and sell it first... not sure to stay with a honda or maybe move to the subaru side of things :cool:

Decisions decisions....I think we all think about a wrx from time to time....they are a great car.What engine is in the car currently,I mean a nice upgrade in engine in a honda with a few goodies would be nice ya know.With the money you spend on a wrx,you could have a great Honda setup.

hmm probably not, not much worth salvaging, the rim that got hit is fooked. and the coilovers on that side are done for. the only other thing worth getting back would be the cd player really.... No idea what to get now, so many options . budget of about 15-16 to spend on the car.
