hey all, my ek has a flat and has a shitty space saver on there atm. need to drive down to goldcoast which is roughly ~70km away and it says max 80km/hr sticker on the space saver - so question is: would it be ok to use a spare steelie i have at home?

the eks tyre size = 195/55R15; yaris spare stockie - 185/60R15 ..
or would the small size difference make using that wheel highly unadvisable?

thanks all and quick response wud be muchly appreciated as need to leave 2moro!

thanks again ^_^

so its ok for roughly ~200km's? i posted topic with gfs lil bros account haha. The tyre in question with the problem(s) is that car was parked all morning til afternoon and then when we came back it looked flat.. pumped back up and it was good for a couple weeks so there must be a small puncture somewhere? took it to bob jane but they looked so dodgy when they said ' aww no we cant repair this, you'll have to buy a new set ' ..

so we have pumped up wheel and its back on car - good idea or no?

not good idea.. get the single tyre changed.. or change the whole set or a pair in one go.

Go to a tyre shop and get them to patch it up from the inside with a mushroom plug for $30.
