Anyone know how to remove white dried up Wax off side black plastic moulds? side skirts etc...

black plastic moulds as in bumper strips or the moulds around the window?

sideskirts - cloth and some armorall if it doesnt come out get some wax n greese remover. gets anything out ahaha

moulds around window - i use a toothbrush :]

When i was cleaning all the dried wax off mine.. it required alot of scrubbing and soapy water.
lol it took a while and wasnt fun

Shoe polisher.

Easier, more fun and makes them look new.

How about wet-sanding it if it is not painted?

White dried up wax sounds dodgy :p

yeh not for my car hey ... the idiots who waxed my gf's car ages ago got wax on the black moulds and side skirts ... i thought it would come off easy but apparently not..

megiuars naturally black should remove the wax residue. costs about 20 bucks a bottle from autobarn

wont the white bits of clay get stuck on the plastic? creating more white marks? lol

you have to wash the car again after the clay bar regardless as it smuges

giving a good excuse to wax the car afterwards leaving a faultless finish

prob take about 1.5hrs :D best time spent
