will changing from fujita cai to stock air box with pod and pipe running down if tuned with a neptune?
and vice versa.

still wanting to know what best..
what would the difference going from the fujita cold air, to stock box with pod inside, and a cold air duct pipe running down.
still cold air i know, but would torque and response and so forth be affected.
since the car is running so good, dont really wanna affect it.
even tho the gains are probably minimal.

Won't be a problem, just the temperature of intake air which changes. If you wanna reset your ECU just for the sake of it then pull the fuse and put it back in.

just make sure the SRI box is not the fully enclosed one.
I had a problem that actually car becomes pinging, and affected the knock sensor. cos the Air flow is more restricted.

In my case, I needed to retune the car.

yeah man..
well basically reading all that sh*t about hydrolock made me think, coz my mate actualy blew his engine in his mps. sucked in water. so yeah.
i still got the splash guard, so i just made like a rubber cover, thin layer inside the splash guard.. and probably get a hydroshield.. i dont usually submerge my car in water, but just wanted to be safe than sorry ey.
im not gona go to sri..

Hydrolock only really happens if you're very unlucky. Did your mate get water in his car via his CAI? It'd probably depend where you live/drive to know if you need heaps of protection etc or just need to be wary of the occasional puddle.

Just put a pod inside ur airbox?

and run a ducted pipe for cold air if your worried about hydrolock...

yeah he did. very unfortunate.
it should be alright now.
yeahh i was considering pod inside stock airbox..
dont want it to be different to the way its running now, even tho the change i know will be minimal.

I have a SRI with cold air ducting, all custom cause I wanted the best of both worlds and it works great! but even just the pod inside the stock box would suffice.
