Can any one please tell me what interface type does the CL9 Accord Euro use to communicate with diagnostic scanners?

Yes, thanks but I mean the language or what ever you call it that allows it to communicate with the ECU

It's one of the following: SAE interfaces: J1850 (PWM and VPM), ISO-9141-2, ISO-14230 [KWP2000], and CAN [11bit and 29bit]

Probably ISO9141-2. Look at your OBDII port and check which pins have contact

Yeah it's hard work bending that far down to have a look but if that's the case there should be pins at 4, 5, 7, 15 (optional) and 16.
