central locking problem 94 EG5

Hey guys, i just pulled off my passenger door trim to inspect the lock.

My problem is that the remote doesn't unlock the passenger door. i havent inspected the actuator closely but just played around with the hooks and it all seems fine. it seems like theres no power getting to the actuator? would that be a dead actuator or wires?

if it is a dead actuator, how do i remove it? looks impossible to get to

check the plastic clip inside door handle they always snap over time

If you sit in the car with the door skin off, and the door closed
does the actuator move when you remote lock/open?

if not then chances are actuator could be dead (test for power)
or not receiving power from the control box/Alarm

if it is still trying to move then try to move the hook/hangers connecting
the actuator to lock (closer/further) to get it to pop the right distance to
open/lock the door.

take it off the clip and see if it moves then. You can buy if from ebay US for like $20-30 posted
