Firstly, the kit I have doesn't use the stalk, so it's not what honda australia uses, instead it uses a button, similarly to the accent lighting kit.

The front half is already done and the wiring is straight forward, but now I have a harness for the dash/fuse box that I just can't figure out and the Honda Australia install manual that I found isn't very useful as it covers the install for the stalk which uses a different harness.

This is the harness and the switch button:

The black box lookin thing on the right appears to have a fuse inside.

This is the bottom half of the fuse box.

This is the top half of the fuse box:

Has anyone installed a kit with the same (or similar) harness to the first picture? The gray plug goes into the back of the switch. The blue plug looks just like what my accent lighting (as installed pre-delivery) plug as seen on the second picture. And then there's a 1-pin brown plug which I'm guessing probably also needs a home. Obviously the metal ring is the ground..

I'm feeling pretty lost at the moment and hope someone here has done this before or has a good idea of how these things work...

Thanks for helping.

Apparenty the brown 1pin connector connects to a plug closer to the drivers left foot... Now i'm worried that i have to chose between accent lighting and foggies.. So in ur car i think you're good to go.

These are for the US style foglights with the stalk, but they might help:

Nah, I've already gone through those, the harness is very different. But yeah, the only plug I'm now confused about is the blue one (first photo)... which happens to look like the same as the accent lighting plug (second photo, top left), which I think means I have to chose or DIY wire it directly to the battery... I don't know :(

Hey aero, come over sun morning and we'll do your wiring since you don't have the accent lighting, it should work.

Anyone seen any instructions for the switch style fog light kit?

Thanks Howy!

This image is of particular interest to me:

Which kinda indicates I can have both my accent lighting and foglights in the same connector.. although I don't know how I'm to "remove the dummy back" in order to piggyback that connector... But the rest of the harness looks very different to what I have.

LOL... aero and I failed.

We have power going to the switch and to the little black fuse box... but for some reason no power coming out of the small black fuse box... either the fuse came pre-blown on both of ours... or who knows what... everything is plugged in and it just doesn't work. No power is getting past the fuse box that comes with the fog light kit.

I'm gonna go buy a voltmeter thingy and put my thinking cap on... try and work out whats happening.

The white cable should be the in the slot below the Red/black cable Or link the White & red/black cable on the plug together.
