Has anyone changed their stock suspension for greater comfort but still retaining good control?

Do Koni/Bilstein and Eibach make a comfort kit?

Sorry; getting old!

atm, i've got KONI adjustable suspension in my CL9 (just bought it and picked up a week ago)

the previous owner has adjusted the KONI's on max stiffness settings on all four.

i've dial down the front to make it more comfortable, but for the rear i don't know how to reach the top of the strut, so i really can't tell you at this stage.

does anyone know how to reach the rear strut top?

SPQR, look into KW coilovers as well, I've got them on my CL9, very good balance between stiffness and comfort. They only make variant 1 for CL9 so only height adjustable, rebound and compression is fixed and pre-set. You can check inmotive.com.au , he's the importer.

kingfisher29, it's very easily done...
- pull up the rear seats
- undo the 10mm bolt holding the edge section of the backrest in place
- lift that section up and you've got access to it

do you mean the headrest?

is it under the rear shelf where the rear speakers are mounted, like one on the left, one on the right?

Yeah, they're kind-of right behind the left and right headrests of the rear seat. Let me know if you're still having trouble with it, I'll snap some photos and put together a more detailed step-by-step.

I would say if you want coilovers and don't want the hassle of seperate shocks and springs... Tein SS or Buddy Club N+. I would try and stay away from any Taiwanese coilover, not only due to quality but alot of them are very stiff to try and make up for the handling lost in poor dampers and engineering.

If you want a Spring/Shock combo. KYB AGX + Eibach or if you want something a little more expensive but adjustable and fair bit better handling characteristics. I would say Koni Yellow + Ground Control Sleve Kit.

As above.

Tein SS or Buddyclub N+ the way to go if you go Tein flex or mfp they are too harsh for your liking.
