View Full Version : s2000 antenna onto dc2?

hey guys, i've got a '98 dc2 vti-r. i'm thinking of replacing my stock antenna with the s2000 antenna. will it fit?

so what exactly needs to be done? rip out the plastic mouldings? replace the motor? or just change the top bit of the antenna?

urgently need some help.

You need to buy a kit, you can find these kits on ebay. You will need to remove the old motor and replace it with the new one. It's basically plug and play really.

i got a s2k antenna on my dc4.
bought a s2k antenna kit off some guy here, which bought it from honda.
costs me like 290.
took out the old one,cut the rubber grommet on the new s2k antenna to fit.
plugged the antenna cable in. and soldered the power wire to the new transmitter.
and instead of making a bracket like on team integra did. i just got stell wire and tied it down realy tight so water cant get in..

dude i gota do that soon aswell, need to get s2k antenna first anyways heres a website that will show u step by step instructions on how to fit it in with the kit, this shuld help u out..

what i have done is just bought a cheap antenna from super cheap and exstanded it in side my A piller works great and my standed one just stays down way cheaper than an s2k one
