View Full Version : 50K Service Cost?

Hey guys, just wandering how much will a 50K service set me prefer from Honda Dealerships in Sydney, just want to get an idea before i start ringing the dealers? for my 05 plate VTi Accord, according to the logs, only an engine oil replacement is required and the regular checks/adjustments... I also bought new tyres Bridgestone Turrenza 205/60/16 $152x2, they handle quite well.

well RD quoted me $270 for this??? and LH Roseberry stayin in the $150 range, anyone used LH Roseberry and comments of their service?? do they do a proper job? and wash the car/vacuum? as RD do a pretty good job on service, mayb thats why they charge the prem? but i dont think it justifies the $120 xtra... any suggestions?

To me 270 for a regular service is too expensive. Midas' service with change of oil and filter and check of everything in the car is 139 dollars.. and a comprehensive is 179 with change of spark plugs and stuff like that.

Vacuum and clean ur car urself, and ull save 120 dollars lol

You won't get a plug change at Midas for $179 for the 05 Accord, unless they give you copper plugs instead of the iridiums that it is meant to use.

yea thats true about midas, i got my 40k service (major) at Ultra tune, i bought all the parts for $150 and paid $170 in labour, Honda Dealers were charging me $500 +. But this time i need to take it to a dealer, as I need to get the Front Passenger Door Lock accuatator fixed under warranty and Roseberry Honda are charging a decent price of $150 (oil change) excluding oil filter but that's $15 so i'll ask if they can adjust it a bit.
