better off finding oem items if you can
afaik the ej8 has a front 22mm but no rear?
ryan should step in here pretty soon and give you an idea

aftermarket ones on the whole for daily driving are overkill (and expensive), you will notice the difference in having the oem one immediately :D

oem ek9 ones are pretty good already.
i installed a rear ek9 sway bar into my ej8 recently. money well spent there.
check jdm yard for their prices.

Just got off the phone with jdm yard, they are saying that it is essential to get the reinforcment kit, (subframe). im guess its so as i dont rip it out with ek9 22mm. just wondering is the subframe the same on an ek9 and an ej8 otherwise ill have to get the beaks or ASR kit. which come to a total of around $687 with ASR and $490 with Beaks.
any opinions appriciated

ej8 and ek9 subframes are different. so for the ej8 you'll need a subframe reinforcement [asr brace].
as most people will tell you, get the asr!

yeh getting the ASR + EK9 rsb kit is money well spent if u do track work or just like hooning around the streets. I recently put this combo on and the car handles noticeably tighter around corners and bends. very very highly recommended

If u buy whiteline, im pretty sure they come with subframe reinforcement which will end up being cheaper than asr + ctr rsb. Wont look as good though :P

does any1 have any informations about BEAKS subframe. the price difference between ASR and BEAKs is kinda significant. is it the case where as you get what you pay for. so ASR being the better choice. not going to lie i dnt go to the track. i understand that it may be quite pointless upgrading but id like to get a different feeling from my cars handling. i dnt mind spending alil on handling. but wont go as far as getting race spec coilovers.

thanks
