Ok heres the story; I had an Alpine W202e DVD player connected to my stock HU via an auxiliary adapter and was working fine with the stock speaker setup.
Over the last week i have painfully installed new fusion splits in the front doors, new tweeters in the factory casing on the dash, new splits in place of the 6x9's on the rear shelf along with tweeters on the shelf, a fusion amp running the splits and tweeters and a JBL grand touring amp running 2 12" JBL subs.

Now as soon i plugged the RCA's into the DVD player all speakers are running fine except for the fact that now the original HU has no sound. Basically the DVD player has complete control over the sound through the speakers and switching to aux on the factory HU does nothing besides change the display. Nothing else was changed to before when both units were working.

Has anyone got any ideas on how i can get my stock HU working again along side the DVD player via auxilary???

ok, im trying to understand the situation here but seems like this
1. you had all audio running off the factory head unit via its aux inputs from the 202
2. now you have all the signal rca wires coming from the 202 so the factory unit has been disconnected.

Is this rite?

ahhh...not to be a douche or anything but have a look at the date of the OP.

Most likely would have been solved at this stage.

Just sayin'

I've actually got it all going now here's how it's all setup:

I've installed 6.5" Alpine TypeS splits in the front doors, along with Alpine tweeters in the existing spot on the dash and Alpine Type R 6x9's in the rear shelf. All those speakers are running off the stock Honda headunit with an aux adapter to my Alpine DVD player (which i've had for a while already).

Then i've got a 12" Alpine Type R sub running off a Alpine MRP-M500 500W RMS monoblock amplifier.

To sum it all up i've got my awesome clarity sound and volume i was aiming for and still got the bass which pumps hard and also kept my steering wheel controls.
