Hey everyone,
I got a little issue,
I was installing the oil jets into my block tonight and was tourquing them to spec 13lbf-ft, so anyways i got three of them all torqued up fine by building up slowly starting at 1lbf-ft then up a few each time giving each a break to cool, but the last just ate up the thread in the block, so now i am kinda stuck as of what to do. i thought of possibly shaving the oil jets main block down a couple mm but even still this will only give me 2,3 or maybe 4 turns on the bolt but i dont think this will be enough, and using a different bolt is not an option since the bango bolts used are also internally sprung to regulate oil pressure i guess.
