Using AMP to power lights?

I am thinking about adding an extra light into my boot as the existing one only manages to light up half of it, but I am wondering instead of routing all the cables down my car to the front to get power, would it be possible to wire the bulb/led/neon to my amp instead?

Cant you just use the power rail from the existing boot light?

yes it is possible to run power, its just like your amp getting powered directly from the battery, oyur powering a neon light, just cut the wires, and plug positive and negative into the - + terminals its alright
