integra ignition key chip

hey guys searched around and really found nothing. anyone know what year integras started to have ignition chips in?

96 - 97 onwards have the immobiliser. they use the RED key system. if you dont have the red key it will cost quite a bit to get another key added at a dealer.

Hmm just went to the honda dealer they checked this book with immobiliser said 98+ integras (aus delivered) have the immob/chip since my car is pre-98 I can go anywhere to cut a key. He also looked at my key and said there wouldn't be a chip in there.
