hey guys ive got a curious question

i wanna chuck in DC2R recaros into my eg hatch and wondering if i need a MOD plate for the seats?

ive heard many different answers just wanna clarify things up

DC2R Recaro's with DC2R rails will bolt strait up! :thumbsup:

its a straight fit if u got dc2 rails...

i no that its a straight bolt in so if the rails are the same no need for mod plate??

It is a straight bolt in if you have genuine DC2R rails.

If your buying DC2R recaro's make sure you get the original rails with them and they will bolt in.

You will NOT be able to use OEM EG rails

to clear it up a mod plate to other states is to get it engineered
in qld we get mod plates so it is technically legal
its a grey area best to get mod plate to be sure

Ahhh that type of mod plate... lol

I suppose it depends on the actual place you get your rego inspection done. I would check what restrictions there are in your state.

Saying that you are using factory rails and a factory seat from a car that has the same chassis.

yep you'll need a mod plate done as EG's didnt come with them from factory

well how'd you go mate ? did u put UR dc2r recaro's in ur eg or what ? did u have to get mod plate ??
