How bout more technical?

How bout actually calculating what turbo is correct for what engine. As in every single aspect.

How bout http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbobygarrett/tech_center/turbo_tech101.html

comes in 3 parts. Shows you how to graph a turbo and alocate your engine to that graph to see how your turbo will work. How efficient and what peak power itll make.

=] Have fun reading. Gave me heaps of pre purchase knowledge.

I can't recommend Corky Bell's "Maximum Boost" book. I bought a copy before I started my boost build and it has helped in many ways. If your thinking of turboing your honda give it a read.

Also I found the following invaluable reading:

http://www.turbovtec.com/
^ the site is navigated by the box on the left, with a little preparation the crx (b16) was turbo'ed in a field over a weekend! GO CRX-UK!

Crx-Uk's Turbo Sticky - invauable reading and links.
http://board.hondacrx.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=18862

The following are build threads on CRX-UK mostly for B16's, you'll need to register to read I believe - but the site is fantastic for info.

Eddies VT (http://board.hondacrx.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=62321&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=50)

Raz's B16 Build (http://board.hondacrx.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=74557)

scooby slayers build (http://board.hondacrx.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=74292)

burger's build (http://board.hondacrx.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=75717)

Here is information for those interested in self tuning (BRE tuning program & Ostrich Emulation) :

Also an American site called Homemadeturbo.com

As for Self Tuning your set up - what I'm doing - see these:

EMS Megasquirt - but good for basic tuning theory (http://www.diyautotune.com/tech_articles/street_tuning_your_megasquirt_ems.htm)

more crx-uk bre / ostrich / datalogging threads, some good trouble shooting:

wb02 is an australian company doing an alternative to Inovate's LC-1 wideband data logger, see here for info:

I know this is towards the end of my post and it probably should be at the top, but this is a MUST READ, if your thinking of building/tuning yourself, it gave me a lot of inspiration (from pgmfi.org):

Here's an installation guide for an LC-1 wideband going into a civic:

If you find any of this info useful please add to my rep, as I want to start and share my build progress with you all, but cant post in the build threads section yet :)

Cheers,
Matt
