EK9 tweeters, how to wire in

basically I have the pair of tweeters with std connection on each one which consist of a male or female connection to a harness which my car does no possess

I need to know what type of harness ppl have used to wire them up :D

My Tweeters are ran through a crossover, because mine is an aftermarket split system.
Not sure how OEM tweeters would work, I thought they needed the frequencies to be filtered.

if there genuine ek9 gathers tweeters it should come with a crossover, if not u prob just need to go buy urself a set
or just connect them to ur standard speakers, prob wont sound as clear but still would do the job

yeh, definitely need some kinda crossover... gotta split the signal to hi/mid somehow!

just got back from the shop and they had transistors built in that had to be modded to suit, works well, sounds as good as my boss's euro car front stage :D

was bout to say... the standard setups dont have crossovers

i know my CD5 VTi-S had standard splits and they just connect straight to the back
of the woofer... guess it filters the hi/lo on its own built in transistors like u said... :thumbsup:

found the mounts off another car site from a guy on here who cant sell on OZHonda as hes new :D
