any reason 4-1?

GENERALLY speaking their design is aimed towards upper rpm flow.... will you be doing other mods later that require you to support upper rpm power?

the clearance really is pretty bad unless you find yourself the jdm dc2r 4-1 headers... why not tri-y headers?

thanx for the reply... well to be honest i got custom made 4-2-1 full exhaust.... at liverpool... and it was rubbish..... so decided to go go another one made somwhere else at northmead (hax) and get 4-1 i really did feel the difference ebwteeen the two and it got bashed the week later hahaha... but now im trying to look for some branded ones that are 4-1's... being, when racing, theres more pull on higher rpm ofcourse....

Mugen make a very nice 4-1 header. That'll be my pick.

mugen ones sit very low, on a race car they are great, but for street use its crap cos one big bump and there goes $1500.

The JDM 4-1s from a jap spec ITR are the best compromise of fit and performance

yeah limbo's right... they pop up once in a while in the FS section... but also lookout for the 'hitech tri-y replicas"....

but in your post above that was the mistake there... trusting liverpool exhaust to do a custom job on honda vtec motors where they've never invested time in actual r&d on tune lengths specific to vtec motor characteristics.

if you search around in this forum there have been many bang for buck 4-2-1 systems such as the x-force

yeah liverpool exhaust have been very crap of late in nearly everything they make
Yeah i think i saw u at performance exhuast, just have to wait till he makes another set for u i guess

JDM 4-1s come up every once in a while in the forums, just gotta keep an eye out for them. They are good value
