Hi, i was just wondering what sort of coilovers / springs and shocks absorbers does insurance cover?

When i was with QBE they insured any mods on the car upto $850 each item. So if the item was worth $400 they would give you $400 but if it was worth $1100 they would give you $850.

If you're willing to pay their premiums, I'm sure they'll cover what you want.

Well i only paid 800 a year for full comp. Cos civic is classed as a family car.
from what I know, some insurance company willing to insure something that is not lowered than 30mm.

Insurance companies are "willing" to insure anything. But since anything aftermarket is a defect, they may not insure your car if they can prove that the aftermarket part or related part was cause of accident - unless the part is engineered.
However, most insurance companies are pretty decent, and most of the time, don't care and actually cover you.

exactly.... i've had that happen alot of times in breakins on my car
