Hey guys, nt sure if this is the write place to post this, sorry im noob.

I've recently purchased my self some hasport engine mounts, and to me they feel like very stiff = my whole car vibrates and shakes, idol & rev

just want to know. whats everyone's experience with them since first installed,

and does it go soften and not vibrate anymore/much ?

because it kinda feels a bit too rough... not seem to liking it atm,

cheers,
hai

Thats the initial feeling, they soften up later on, normal.

What stiffness you get? soft, medium, hard

if you hate it that much then you can increase your minimum idle value

What ones did you get 62A, 70A or 88A?

I have 62A's (softest). Only at Idle I noticed a bit more vibration. Other than that have not noticed any difference at all. They are great, love em.

Speak to them. They are most likely 62A's (softest) I bet.

Need to do more research next time. Everyone complains about how hard they are and how much they vibrate, heaps of info out there. Do a search on Ozhonda or on Google, you'll see. I love em though, to the point where I wanted harder!

Yeah Yonas sells the softest ones from memory,

I agree dean I wish I got something harder than 62A

i filled my stock mounts with polyurethane, which gives the same sort of effect as hasports and i found the same thing as these guys, i love it!

You'll get used to it pretty quick, mine are so stiff my change rattles in my dash on idle and on downshift the dash shakes as the clutch grabs

Sorry to hijack the thread for a second but if one of my mounts need replacing do you think i should go aftermarket or just stick with the stock. I have the stock ordered in at honda but if its a much better option to go aftermarket then i might do that.

aftermarket mounts will always be better than oem mounts for performance purposes..
there are sacrifices that must be made to have aftermarket mounts..

it depends on what your priorities are..

Aftermarket. Your's is a boosted setup yeh? Your gonna put more torque and stress on your Oem ones. A lot of engine movemet. Look at the Oem ones, they are soft and designed for comfort/vibration absorbsion. Jdm-yard has Hasports, I'm sure they can make you a good deal.

I would say around 100-150 cheaper...

Never had a problem with any innovative mounts.. great products for the price.

Get the Hasport ones.

I've seen more complaints about Innovative mounts compared to Hasport.

And engine vibration from stiffer mounts is normal.

Increase in performance usually means sacrifices in comfort.

I have never had a problem with my Innovative mounts (85a) either, but this is for DC5. They vibrate the car a lot so my CD skips quite often and all sorts of random interior parts rattle. Doesn't bother me too much though.

I had no problems with fitment or quality.
