Hi guys,

I'm looking to buy a 2006/2007 Euro. I'm just wondering whether I should bother getting one that had a SatNav factory installed at time of purchase form 2006/2007. Would it be outdated by now and not worth it?

Cheers

Most places it still works fine, just in the city mine seems to be off like im driving in the river lol. But then again i have V12 i think they are up to 14 or 15 now

It's cheaper in the long run just to get an aftermarket one but, as the new cd cost way too much lol

Yeah I just hear about people having bought Navmans or TomToms from that era and they're quite out of date now and not releasing updates for them any more. I wouldn't mind satnav built in but if they're not getting updated I won't worry about it.

I'm actually looking at a private sale one without satnav tomorrow so hopefully all is good and I become a Euro man

hahaha :) welcome to the brutherhood :) haha

nahh i have been looking for the same thing. Spending big money to have one oem installed. Looking into it, its cheaper and better to buy one aftermarket and get the whole fascia changed. Only probably with this is that you loose your dual climate control options :(

why dont you just buy a separate mobile navman ?

Correctamundo!

It's nice if it's part of the centre console, but these things get out of date, so yeah I'm not too worried about getting one with an older model car. I'll get it separately if I need one.

It's nice to have the big screen but updating the maps is an expensive pain. Plus having to touch the screen a lot where the non sat-nav has dials right there which you can use. If I bought another Euro I'd be strongly considering the non sat-nav version!
