Problem with sisters car 05 Honda Jazz Auto

Hey,

My sisters 05 Jazz is having some problems,

its got this intermittent shudder on acceleration, any one know what a possible problem is?

Car has 78,000ks on it and its a VIBE model.

CVT transmission problem, get the CVT Fluid from honda and flush the transmission and top it up with new fluid. That should help. If it doesn't, probably need to change starter clutch.

Should change your CVT oil every 20,000km to be on safe side to maintain the tranny.

well hope it wont scare you, I have 05 Jazz vibe and have the same problem, send to Honda and found out some broken parts fall out from the gear box........at the end cost $700 have the gear box rebuild, mind you it mean to cost couple of grand to have it fix and have to take a fight with Honda for covering most of the cost!!!

heard many jazz CVT problem, produce cranky noise etc. But if you change the Honda transmission oil more often like 20k-30k km, there are high possible chance you can eliminate this problem.
