What are the steps?

fill out personalised plate transfer application? so me and the seller just has to fill it out and I can take it to landtransport without the seller?

How much is the fee?

Then once its on my name how do i put it on my car?

vehicle registration transfer?

Will i get new rego sticker for the plates?

what do i do with my old plates?

When you get the new plates transferred to your name you will have to assign a car with the plates, so therefore you will probably tell them the existing plate number on your car and they will just transfer the details over to the new plate number.

Once you have sorted that out they will porbably ask you to hand in your old plates........

Not too sure on this but its common sense really.........

go to PPQ for the forms

its 70 odd dollars

you have to go to the DOT near you and remove old plats, if theyre std issue ones u have to return them to the office but if theyre personalised u keep them

they do the transfer there on the spot

they send you a new sticker in 10 working days

hang, sell or store you old plates as theyre still yours to keep :D (if theyre personalised ones)
