Hi Guy's,

I own a 2004 Accord V6,

Just wondering what is involved in a 100,000km major service?

I know they change the timing belt which is said to take up most of the cost,

But does anyone know what else they do?

Brake pads/disks?
oil?
filters/air/fuel/cabin/oil?
spark plugs/leads?
Injector flush?

Is there anything else that I have missed? or included that does not belong here?

Cheers guys.

Have you got your service history book?
I know mine tells me what is involved in each service.

I recommend you get the following done:

* Timing belt
* Water pump
* Thermostat if is hasn't been done before
* Cam seals
* radiator drained and refilled
* Oil change and filter changed
* Fuel filter if this hasn't been done before
* Fuel injectors cleaned (optional)
* new air filter (if it needs it)

I payed $40 ea to have my injectors callobrated,that is - flow rate and spray pattern corrected and they were quite a bit off (10 years) and I noticed the difference.Definately worth doing if they haven't been done.

I believe 04 Accords don't run platinum or iridium plugs, therefore no need to change plugs (as plugs are changed every 40,000kms)
